All packages covered by the EPP system will be marked with an identification emblem which is added either to the label of a product or as a security sticker on a package. In principle, the emblem is a basic image of the marking. It means that the EPP system uses a single marking but the sum of the deposit on markings differs according to the rate of deposit established for the relevant type of packaging. The dimensions of the emblem comply with the size of deposit markings established by the Minister of the Environment.
According to the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 01.06.2009 the rates of deposit are the following:

The marking indicates that the packaging company belongs in the EPP system and that the packaging company has, according to subsection 16(2) of the Packaging Act, transferred its obligations proceeding from the Packaging Act to the EPP. All packaging companies which have joined the EPP system must ensure that their packaging bears the above-mentioned marking. The EPP is not obliged to organise the collection or recovery of packages which are not properly marked.
(Non-fictile!)
Beverage cans bear the marking on cans. Plastic and glass bottles bear the marking on labels. Stickers are fixed on cans and bottles.
The emblem can be used only according to the rules provided for in the EPP Emblem Guide which can be downloaded as a pdf-file in Estonian and English under your role menu! The relevant designing tool is also available at the same location.
